47-51 King Street is a mid to late 19th century building featuring a plain late classical style. It has a four-storey, five-window ashlar facade. The first and second floors are adorned with architraves, and there are cornices at the first floor. The ground floor shop has been altered, affecting the main cornice and blocking course.
