Description
The Cart Shed at West Aberthaw Farm is a building made of roughly coursed local lias limestone rubble, featuring blue lias blocks that curve on either side of the cart opening. It has a Welsh slate roof that is hipped over the full-width opening, which faces east. The side walls are plain, and the rear gable is built separately from the barn it abuts. Inside, there is a three-bay queen strut roof with iron reinforcement on the struts.
