Description
This is a K6 type telephone call-box located at a road junction in the center of Gileston village. It is a square, red kiosk made of cast iron. The door and sides have raised surrounds and feature horizontal glazing with marginal glazing bars. The back of the kiosk is blank, and it has a moulded plinth. The roof is domed and includes four lunettes that display King George VI crowns over red-lettered opals and ventilation slits.
