Description
This is a small, rectangular gabled barn, originally built for agricultural use and later converted for mixed purposes. It likely dates to the 18th century. The barn is constructed from roughly coursed rubble limestone, with dressed quoins marking the corners, and has a roof of Welsh slate. The north elevation features central cart doors, with a slit vent below a hayloft door to the left and a door and window below a hayloft door to the right. A matching pair of cart doors are located on the south elevation. Inside, a timber tallet (platform) provides access to the hayloft, which is supported by a roof structure of machined king post trusses and staggered purlins.
