Description
The Heavy Horse Stable at West Aberthaw Farm is a single-storey building dating from the 19th century. It is made of roughly coursed local lias limestone rubble, featuring dressed quoins and a Welsh slate roof. The rectangular structure has a central door with a segmental head and windows on either side, although the window on the right is a blocked doorway. Inside, the stable consists of a single cell with queen strut roof trusses that have iron reinforcement on the struts.
