Description

The railed tomb to the Nicholl family is located to the east of the chancel of the Church of St Cattwg. It features a large incised tomb slab made of white limestone, which is inscribed to Francis, daughter of Rev. Robert Nicholl of Dimlands, among others. The slab is enclosed by a complete rectangle of wrought iron railings, consisting of 4 by 2 bays. The main standards of the railings are topped with cast vase finials. The spike railings are set into a dwarf stone wall and include a top rail.
