Description
Lower Farmhouse is a late Georgian style house, two storeys with an attic, built with whitewashed cement render featuring painted quoins and channeled rusticated surrounds, likely over local rubblestone. It has a Welsh slate roof and is three windows wide with a central entrance. The windows on the two main storeys are all 6 over 6 pane sashes, with the lower windows being taller. There is a modern gabled porch at the entrance. The steeply pitched slate roof includes three gabled dormers with 8 over 2 pane sashes and masonry end stacks with moulded cappings. The rear elevation has undergone some modern alterations. The interior, not available at the time of resurvey, appears to follow a standard central entry layout with a staircase in the hall and a room on either side on each floor.
