Description

Pont Groes Gwta is a two-span bridge built in 1896. It features a slightly ramped deck and two small round arches, with the southern arch being smaller. The eastern side of the southern arch has a very small opening with an almost flat arch. The bridge is constructed of coursed grey masonry and includes a string course, end piers, and parapets topped with saddleback copings. Additionally, the eastern side has a triangular cutwater. The date 1896 is engraved in the stonework and concrete pavement of the deck.
