Description
The building at Church Farm consists of a mill, threshing barn, and cart shed, all oriented east-west. The mill is three stories high, constructed of rubble stone, and features a slate-covered hipped roof. There is an external stack on the west side. The openings typically have segmental heads with voussoirs and include planked doors and hatches. On the front, there are three doorways on the first floor, with the central doorway accessible by stone steps.
Adjoining the mill at a right angle to the north is a two-story range, which leads to a threshing barn that has a wide central opening and raised eaves that create a porch effect. Attached to the west end of the mill is a single-story range, which was formerly a cart shed. This cart shed has open bays on the internal side, with the eaves supported by cast iron columns.
