Description
The Lion Steps are a flight of 10 concrete steps that connect the formal terrace and lawns located immediately south of the house, specifically the Panel Garden and Shrubbery to the southeast, with the more informal eastern garden, which features woodland, rock, and heather gardens. The steps are shallow and have side kerbs, with recumbent lions made of artificial stone flanking the top.
