Description
Vine Walk, also known as the Pergola, is an architectural feature consisting of nine pairs of concrete piers on plinths on the east side and six on the west side. These piers support intersecting iron hoops arranged diagonally and are held up by imposts. At each inner end of the structure, there is a small square open pavilion or kiosk. Each kiosk has a timber roof covered in pantiles, with radiating timber struts in the gable end, supported by four concrete piers. The kiosks feature a three-sided concrete balustrade on a concrete plinth and a flag floor. Steps at the rear lead down to lower lawns, which are separated by a causeway.
