Description

This listing describes a set of steps leading up to a terrace and Yew Tree Pleasance. The structure features a narrow flight of ten plain limestone steps that ascend to a wider, shallower flight of 13 steps, which has coping. This second flight of steps leads into a formal flat grass terrace. The steps were partially restored at the time of inspection in June 1995.
