Description

The greenhouse attached to the Kitchen Garden at Merthyr Mawr House is built against the south wall of the garden on a sloping site. It features a brick plinth with vine arches. The structure has an asymmetrical gable made of curved cast iron trusses and curved glass. At the lower eastern end, there are brick steps that lead up to a half-lit boarded door.

Inside, the greenhouse retains its original fittings. There is a door that connects to the kitchen garden, which was inserted in 1900 and features a segmental head.
