Description
This is a single-span bridge located over the Neath Canal, southwest of Ynys Nedd Farm. It is constructed from coursed rubble and features a segmental arch with dressed voussoirs. The abutments and parapet curve outward at the ends. The parapet on the eastern side has been fitted with replaced cement copings. On the western side, which was partly collapsed at the time of inspection, the original parapet has been replaced with concrete walls that flank a steel rail. The deck surface has been replaced with a hardcore of stones and is ramped at the northern end.
