Description
This is a hump-backed bridge made of rubble sandstone, located over the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal east of Pen y van. It features a single elliptical arch constructed with dressed stone voussoirs, along with a low parapet that has flat coping. The abutments are splayed outwards and end in square piers. A former towpath ran under the bridge on the south side. The deck is made of tarmac, and there have been repairs in concrete to the coping and ends.
