Description

This is a hump-backed bridge made of rubble sandstone, located over the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal east of Pen y van. It features a single elliptical arch constructed with dressed stone voussoirs and has a low parapet with flat coping. The abutments are splayed outwards and terminate in square piers. A former tow path used to pass under the bridge on the south side. The deck is made of tarmac, and there have been repairs in concrete to the coping and ends.
