Description
Ashford Cottage is a small two-storey cottage built into the hillside, with its gable end facing downhill towards the canal. The cottage is constructed of whitewashed stone rubble and features a Welsh slate roof. It has a two-window range of nine-pane Breconshire hoppers on the first floor, with the entrance located below. The prominent gable end includes a single pointed arched window with Gothick tracery on each floor.
