Description

This is a rubble stone barn dating to an unknown period, with a corrugated iron roof. The front elevation features a central cart passage doorway, flanked to the left by two ventilation strips, and an added lean-to projecting to the right. Each gable end has three stepped vent strips. The right-hand gable end also contains a small, shuttered opening on its left side. A corresponding cart passage doorway and open-fronted stone lean-tos are situated at the rear. The roof is a seven-bay structure, supported by tie beams and lapped collars, with two of the trusses incorporating re-used crucks.
