Description

The barn at Greenhill Farm is a small structure built from rubble stone, featuring a gabled roof. The front slope of the roof is covered with slate, while the rear is finished with stone tiles. A canopy supported by wooden brackets shelters the central full-height boarded doors that lead to the wagon bay. On either side of the doorway, there are vent strips. The left gable end includes a triangular breather located below the apex and a boarded loft opening. The right gable end has a similar breather and an added lean-to made of corrugated iron. The rear wall has a doorway that is offset to the left and is topped with a timber lintel. The barn was not inspected during the survey conducted in January 1998.
