Description
The barn at Y Fro is a rubble stone structure built on a sloping site, featuring battered walls and a roof covered with concrete pantiles. The front of the barn includes a central wagon bay doorway with double boarded doors, a timber lintel, and wooden brackets that once supported a canopy. Flanking the doorway are three stepped ventilation slits. The right gable end has two tiers of three ventilation slits and a loft opening, which is now glazed, situated beneath a drip stone. The left gable end features a single tier of three ventilation slits, a boarded loft opening, and a triangular breather located below the apex. At the rear, there is a central lean-to with a single-storey projection to the right. The barn was not inspected at the time of the survey in December 1997.
