Description

Glebe Farm is a two-storey main house with a one-and-a-half storey wing, which is the earlier part of the building, set back to the left. The main house is constructed from whitewashed rubble stone and features a synthetic slate roof, with stone stacks on the right and left, although part of the left stack has been replaced with brick. The wing is made of rubble stone, with a stone tile roof at the front and concrete pantiles at the rear, and it has a stone stack on the left.

The main house has a 19th-century two-window front with openings under timber lintels, featuring 2-light casements and a central boarded and ribbed door that is sheltered by a canopy on wooden brackets. The wing has a central boarded and ribbed door with a 2-light casement to the left, both from the 19th century and set under stone lintels. To the right of the door is a smaller inserted window. The left gable end of the wing has an added lean-to garage. At the rear, the wing features a 19th-century half-dormer to the left of centre with a 2-light casement, along with a similar 3-light window in the lower storey. There is also a small stair light at the left end and a raking buttress to the right of centre, beyond which is an added conservatory.

The rear of the main house includes 2-light casements in the centre of each storey, flanked by mid-20th-century inserted windows in the upper storey and a similar window in the lower right. A mid-20th-century conservatory has been added to the gable end of the main house, which features a doorway on the right side, likely the original entrance.

Inside, the main house has a gable-end entry, a renewed fireplace, and a stone fireplace stair. The wing contains a fireplace in the dividing wall with the main house, featuring a chamfered timber lintel, and to the left of this is a stone stair. In the gable end of the wing, there is an added fireplace with projecting baffle walls and a large stone lintel.
