Description

Nos 3 & 4 Glamorgan Street Pair of three-storey houses of stone, cement rendered; mid 19th century front to Glamorgan Street of five bays. Paired bracket eaves cornice. Plain giant pilasters. Small windows on second floor, centre and end sash windows with moulded architraves; tripartite windows between. On first floor narrow sash windows in end and centre bays; intermediate sash windows are three panes wide; centre window with plan stuccoed architrave with pediment; other windows with moulded architraves. On ground floor, in end bays, narrow small-pane sash windows with stuccoed architraves and cornices; central bay with round-headed niche; in intermediate bays; tripartite sash windows with pilasters and entablatures. Iron railings to area. Entrances in return elevations which are each of three bays in the same style.

No.4 with plain round-headed doorcase.

The pair have good interiors with staircase lobbies off side entrances. Ceiling cornices, panelled doors.
