Description
Barclay's Bank is a stone-built structure faced with stucco, featuring a slate roof. The bank has three storeys and five windows facing The Bulwark. It is topped with a cornice that includes dentils and a fluted frieze, and it has long and short quoins along with a rusticated ground floor. The second floor has six-pane sash windows, while the first floor features French casements with shouldered architraves and a full-width modern balcony. The ground floor has modern windows and a doorcase that includes Doric columns and an open segmental pediment, leading to a rectangular doorway.
