Description

This listing describes a pair of telephone call boxes located outside the former yard of the Old Post Office. Each call box features a domed roof with four lunettes that contain embossed crowns, along with red lettered opals and ventilation slits. The sides and door have raised surrounds with marginal bars on the horizontal glazing. The rear of the boxes is blank, and they sit on a moulded plinth. A foundry plate on the boxes is inscribed with "Carron Company, Stirlingshire".
