Description
This listing describes a pair of telephone call boxes located on the pavement outside the Head Post Office. Each call box features a domed roof with four lunettes that contain embossed crowns above opal glass panels, although modern panels have been installed except on the two inner sides, where the original red lettering is still visible. The call boxes also have raised surrounds on the sides and doors, which include marginal glazing bars in the horizontal glazing.
