Description

20 Ship Street is a three-storey timber-framed building that features overhangs jettied out on each upper floor. The front of the building has a large timber-framed gable that is close-studded and adorned with a carved wood bargeboard and finial. There is a window strip consisting of seven lights arranged in a 2-3-2 pattern, with two mullions. The first floor is rendered and has brackets supporting the overhang above, along with two wide 12-pane sash windows that have wooden architraves. The ground floor has a modern shop front. Some beams are visible on the ceiling of the ground floor.
