Description

Nos 43 & 43a High Street Inferior Shop with accommodation above. Three storeys; stucco. Hipped slate roof; projecting boarded eaves. Panelled pilasters to ground floor and giant pilasters to first and second floors. Cornice at first floor level. High Street elevation of 3 windows with moulded architraves on both second and first floors; segmental headed openings on second floor and rectangular openings with shallow segmental pediments on small consoles on first floor. Sash windows without glazing bars. Shopfront with central doorway set back between display windows. Wide elevation facing down Ship Street of three storeys. Three bays each with paired windows as to High Street. Two broad modern display windows, and doorway to R. Rendered South-east side elevation to Church Lane; two bays width with plain openings.
