Description
Lloyd's TSB is a bank building with elevations facing High Street Superior to the west, High Street Inferior to the south, and a main entrance on the broad open part of High Street Inferior to the east. The building has three storeys and is constructed of stucco with a hipped slate roof. The west elevation facing High Street Superior features two windows and a band above the ground floor. The top floor has six-pane sash windows, while the first floor has 12-pane sash windows. The ground floor includes two modern windows and, to the left, a Doric pedimented doorcase with fluted pilasters, a panelled door, and a plain semi-circular fanlight. The south elevation facing High Street Inferior is four bays wide with widely spaced window openings. The main entrance facing east has three windows, with six-pane sashes on the top floor and 12-pane sashes on the first floor. The ground floor, which has channelled stucco, features four windows and, to the left, a pedimented Ionic doorcase.
