Description
This building is a three-storey shop with living accommodation above, dating from the Victorian era. It is constructed of painted brick and features a decorative band between the first and second floors. The main elevation faces north and includes two windows beneath a hipped slate roof with modillion eaves. The second floor has nine-pane sash windows, while the first floor boasts 12-pane sashes.
The shop front is particularly notable, featuring a central bowed and half-glazed double door, flanked by two bowed windows with three-centred headed lights. The shop front is enhanced by a casing of pilasters, a fascia, and a modillion cornice.
On the east side, there is a single small-pane sash window on each floor, positioned towards the rear. The west side also has a single small-pane sash window on the first and second floors, set towards the rear, along with a small doorway below. To the left, there is a round-headed doorway with a pedimented doorcase.
