Description
2 Church Cottages is a pair of single-fronted, two-storey cottages built in the 19th century. The walls are made of pebble-dashed rubble stone, and the slate roof features a large brick chimney stack on the right and a smaller one on the left. The central doorways have been fitted with replaced doors. The windows are two-light casements with four Tudor-headed lights and stone sills. At the top, a central gablet displays fretted barge boards and a blind vent strip that includes the engraving 'CW 1861'.
At the rear, there is a two-light casement window on the upper storey, along with a door flanked by casement windows, all of which were renewed in the mid-20th century. The property was not inspected at the time of the survey in January 1998.
