Description
The pair of Parry family tombs are located in the churchyard of St Cenau in Llangenny. The southern tomb is a table tomb featuring fluted angle pilasters that flank engraved tablets, topped with a saddleback capstone. On the north side, there is a commemorative inscription for Walter Parry, who died in 1824. The south side has an additional inscription for Magdalen Parry, who died in 1844, while the west side includes an inscription for Walter Davies, who died in 1825.
The northern tomb is a stone tomb chest supported by squat splayed legs. Its sides are splayed outward, leading up to a saddleback capstone. The north side bears a commemorative inscription for John Lewis Parry, who died in 1856, and the shorter west side features an inscription for Walter Thomas Parry, who died in 1838.
