Description
Nos 2, 4, and 6 Prospect Place are a group of two-storey houses built in stucco with slate roofs and red brick stacks at the east end. Each house features three windows, slightly stepped down from one another. The facades have cambered-headed arches that extend full-height from a raised plinth. Originally, there were raised bands across the pilasters at the first-floor level, but only No 4 retains this feature. The windows are sashes with slate sills; however, No 2 has 20th-century replacement windows, No 4 has plate glass sashes, and No 6 has four-pane sashes. No 2 has a central window that likely replaced a door, while No 4 features a five-panel door with an overlight in a rusticated stucco surround with a keystone. No 6 has a 20th-century door in a raised stucco surround from around 1930.
