Description

The Golden Grove Inner East Gate is a pair of monolith gatepiers, each standing on a small chamfered plinth and topped with a moulded and enriched cap. Each pier features a rib of stone on the gate face, which serves as a closure for the gate. The original gate has been replaced, and there is a modern stile on the south side.

A low wall with iron spearhead railings extends to both the north and south, with the north wall turning west and continuing toward the house as a rubble retaining wall. On the east side, there are brick wing walls flanking a cattle grid.
