Description
Y Bwthyn is a single-storey cottage constructed of limewashed rubble stone, topped with a corrugated asbestos-cement roof. It features a large square chimney stack on the left and a smaller stack on the right, both of which are roughcast. The openings in the facade are positioned to the right of center. There is a boarded door beneath a wooden lintel, flanked by two-pane sash windows. To the left end of the cottage, there is a small window that provides light to a fireplace.
On the left side, there is a lower extension made of similar materials, though it has been partially rebuilt in brick. This extension includes a full-height boarded door and a fixed window to its left. The rear elevation of the cottage has a fixed pane window located centrally to the left under a wooden lintel, a small-pane casement window to the left under the eaves, and a small replaced window to the right. The extension also features a fixed window at the rear.
