Description

Pont Llanglydwen is a road bridge constructed of rubble stone. It features a single large semi-circular arch made of stone voussoirs. Below the parapet, there is a raised string course topped with slate copings. The abutments on each side of the bridge are designed with large circular openings to reduce weight and have raised outer piers that are capped and finished with ridged coping stones at the parapet level. The bridge has curving abutment walls at each end.
