Description
Pont Llanglydwen is a double-carriageway bridge built from rubble stone, featuring a single span that ramps up to the center. The bridge has a wide segmental arch made of narrow voussoirs, with blind roundels located in the spandrels. The abutments are enhanced by broad shallow pilasters that flank circular flood apertures, which also have voussoirs and are partially filled with cement render. Below the parapet, there is a continuous raised band. The downstream side retains a stone coping, while the upstream side has been replaced with concrete. The terminal piers are topped with saddleback copings. Curved stone approaches with copings are present on both sides of the bridge.
