Description
Ty Newydd is a cottage constructed from painted rubble stone, featuring an asbestos sheet roof and end stacks. The left end stack is made of square rubble stone, while the right end stack is a smaller rendered brick. The cottage is single-storey and double-fronted, with the entrance offset to the right. Each side of the board door has a hornless 4-pane small sash window, and there are slate sills beneath them.
To the left, there is a lower addition with a slate roof, which includes a small square window in the center and a plank door located at the extreme right, against the corner of the main house. A small square loft light is present on the right end wall. The rear of the cottage does not have an outshut. The building has not been inspected.
