Description
Rhyd-y-garreg-ddu is a farmhouse constructed from white-painted rubble stone, featuring paired-brackets at the eaves of a slate roof and brick stacks at the end walls. The building is two storeys high and has a three-window range, with the original front now facing the garden. The current front displays 12-pane sash windows with stone heads, while the centre first-floor sash is a larger stair-light with a lower sill. On the ground floor, the right window has a pair of casement windows, and there is a centre door with a lower head.
The left end wall features a 12-pane sash window on each floor to the right, along with a small centre loft light. The right end wall is unpainted and includes a small 4-pane loft light. The garden front is finished in white-painted roughcast, with sash windows that have marginal glazing bars. The centre door is located within a slate lean-to enclosed porch.
The property was not accessible at the time of the survey.
