Description
Pont Trelech is a road bridge built in 1776. It features a single arch made of rubble stone, with cut stone voussoirs that are recessed. The keystone is located on the north side of the arch. The bridge has rubble parapets that include some edge-on slate copings, which are secured with longer slabs extending down into the walling, as well as some plain rounded cement copings. The parapets splay outwards at the west end, with longer abutments on the east side, and there are tooled limestone curved blocks at the ends of the parapets. On the south side of the bridge, there is a plaque that reads, "This bridge was rebuilt at the expence of ye county by W. E-ns Gent and Mr Rees Overseers 1776."
