Description
Cwm is a farmhouse that has been rendered and features an asbestos sheet roof. It has a red brick stack located at the left end. The double-fronted facade includes earlier 20th-century metal windows set in cement surrounds and a central 19th-century door. To the right, there is an attached range that extends forward, featuring an end stack and a roof that is separate from the main house roof. This range has a two-storey, two-window front that is offset to the left. The left end of the main house shows remnants of roughcast and a large external chimney breast. There is also a tiny loft light on the left side.
At the rear, there is a parallel range with a broad span end wall and a low-pitched gable. A large external chimney breast is positioned to the left of the apex, indicating a possible alteration. This section has a red brick stack and features a large 20th-century cross window on the first floor to the right, along with another 20th-century window on the ground floor just to the right of the chimney breast. The rear includes a long stair light with a brick left side and a metal window to the left, as well as a large 20th-century window on each floor to the right. There is a narrow gabled stone and brick range that extends outward from the rear, which appears to be a 19th-century toilet addition that has been altered and is deteriorating. This rear addition is shorter than the main house, which has a large external chimney breast on the left side of the rear wall, rendered with a brick stack. The eastern end has a hipped steep roof and a first-floor metal window. The rear of the range attached to the front features a basement door and window with timber lintels, a blocked opening with a timber lintel on the ground floor to the left, and remnants of a demolished range extending west to the right.
The interior is not accessible.
