Description

The Coach House and The Barn at Aberglasney is a former barn constructed from rubble stone, featuring a hipped slate roof. The openings in the structure have stone voussoirs. On the eastern side facing the courtyard, there is a central doorway with an elliptical arch, while the outer doorways have cambered heads, all of which have been blocked. Ventilation strips are located between the doorways. Above these openings, there is a stone ledge and a row of pigeon holes. The western side is similar, with glazing inserted into the openings. Above the central-right ventilation strip, there are three small inserted windows. Attached to the southern end is a lower former stable, also made of rubble stone and featuring a hipped roof, with two camber-headed openings. The building has not been inspected.
