Description

This is a small house situated within an informal terrace of properties. It dates from the late 17th or early 18th century. The house is two storeys high and has three bays. It has a gabled roof covered in slate, and a tall rendered chimney placed against the side of the adjacent property at number 5 to the right. The eaves are low. The front facade is rendered with a pebbledash finish and features horned four-pane sash windows on both the ground and first floors. The ground floor window to the left is larger and more square. The central entrance has a recessed four-panel door with a simple rectangular overlight, set within a plain wooden surround with scrolled brackets supporting a simple cornice. The rear of the house is also rendered and contains four early 20th-century cross-windows on the first floor.
