Description

The Cottage is a small house located in a terrace, originally built in the early 17th century but refronted in the early 18th century. It features rubble stone construction on a cemented plinth with flush quoins, and has a slate roof with a wooden dentil eaves cornice. There is a brick end stack on the right side. The building is two storeys high with a single range and a small rear extension. It has two windows on the upper floor, which are 12-pane sashes (4 over 8), and on the ground floor, there is one large 16-pane sash window to the right and a half-glazed door to the left, both of which have timber lintels.
