Description

The entrance gates and railings to Ebenezer Baptist Chapel are made of wrought iron and date from the 19th century. They are positioned on white-painted rendered walls, flanking small painted stone gatepiers topped with pyramids. The railings feature both top and bottom rails, adorned with scrolled finials shaped like a fleur-de-lys. The double gates are designed with large spearheads made of beaten metal, located above the top rail and mid rail, and above the dog bars.
