Description

Ael-y-bryn is a two-storey, three-bay terraced house. It dates to an unknown period, with a slate gabled roof punctuated by modern grey brick chimneys shared with adjacent properties. The eaves are boxed. The facade is roughcast with painted stucco dressings. The corners feature long and short quoins, and there's a moulded plinth. Four-pane sash windows with arched heads are set within shouldered flat surrounds, incorporating vermiculated keys. The central doorway is modern, recessed and framed by pilasters with arched panels containing chippings, moulded capitals, ornate console brackets above, and a cornice that steps forward over each bracket. The interior has not been inspected.
