Description
2 Clun Cottages is a single-storey semi-detached cottage with a two-unit plan. It is constructed from rendered clom and features buttressing on the south entrance side. The cottage has a thatch roof covered with corrugated tin and wide timber eaves boarding. There is a small brick gable stack and four-light casement windows. The main elevation has a central plain door flanked by buttresses, with a single window on either side and an additional buttress to the left. The end gable elevation includes a small loft window, while the plain north roadside elevation is unadorned.
Inside, the cottage retains its lofted two-unit plan, which includes an entrance lobby, slate floors, and fireplaces in both rooms. The right-hand side has a stove, while the left features an open fireplace. The ceilings have rough joists and exposed boarding.
