Description

10 Spilman Street is a large mid-terrace house built in painted stucco, featuring a close-eaved slate roof and red brick end stacks. The house has three storeys and a cellar, with a three-window range of horned plate glass sashes and a central 20th-century six-panel door. It sits on a low raised plinth made of painted stucco. There is evidence of a former pedimented hood that has been removed since 1981. The painted stone sills are notable, and the upper storey has half-sized sashes, similar to those on No 9. The house also has a plain eaves board and cast iron rainwater goods.

Inside, the staircase features straight balusters and turned newels, and there are fielded six-panel doors throughout.
