Description

9 Spilman Street is a mid-terrace house dating from the 19th century, constructed in painted stucco with a pitched slate gabled roof and a red brick ridge stack. The house is narrow, standing three storeys tall and featuring a single window range. On the second floor, there is a 20th-century square 12-pane horned timber sash window that is four panes wide. The first floor has a similar 16-pane horned timber sash window, while the ground floor features a plate glass horned sash window, all with painted sills. The windows are slightly offset to the left, with the entrance door located to the right. The door is a 20th-century six-panel timber door with glazed upper panels and is accessed via a slate step. The interior is not available for inspection but is said to have a contemporary staircase.
