Description

Llandysul Bridge is a road bridge over the River Teifi, designed by James Hughes, the County Surveyor for Cardiganshire. It features a single arch made of rubble stone, supported by raised piers that have circular flood-holes on their outer sides. Below the flat rubble stone parapet, there is a raised string course. A plaque on one side indicates that the bridge was repaired in 1953. The arch is notably wide and high, constructed with cut stone voussoirs.
