Description
This is a multi-purpose agricultural building located at Llethr Cadfan Farm, set on a sloping site. The structure features rubble-stone walls with dressed quoins and a slate roof. On the north side, facing the yard, there is a central barn doorway with a brick segmental head and boarded double doors, flanked by ventilation strips. To the right, there is a shallow stone segmental-headed cart shed doorway, also with double boarded doors. On the left side, which is downhill, there is a split boarded door leading to a stable, accompanied by a window to its left, both under stone segmental heads. Above the stable doorway, there is a loft opening beneath the eaves.
The left gable end has external stone steps leading to a boarded loft door under a segmental head, with small recesses beneath the steps. The right gable end features similar stone steps leading to the granary doorway, which has a segmental head and a boarded door, along with a recess for a kennel below the steps. On the rear elevation, there is a central barn doorway similar to the front, with a corrugated iron lean-to canopy supported by wooden brackets, also flanked by ventilation strips. Additionally, line shafting for a threshing machine projects through the wall on the right side of the doorway.
Inside, the barn is supported by sawn collar-beam trusses.
